Our Core Beliefs

Genetics

Management

Listening

Our family spends countless hours researching and studying proven nutrition management and we adhere to strict production practices to ensure the highest quality of Angus Cattle for our community. The Hagen Family knows that we have to focus on Genetics, Cattle and Land Management, as well as listening to our client's needs, putting the right bull on the right herd is key to our client's success. We believe that the cow has to earn her place to stay in our breeding program.  To do this, each cow must meet our standard of weaning a calf at least forty percent of her body weight at a 207-day weaning. We weigh both cow and calf the day of weaning and analyze the data to maintain the highest quality producers. Our cows must also be bred back within a sixty-three day breeding cycle. Any cow not meeting either of these strict requirements is sold for beef. We evaluate each animal we offer for sale and only sell bulls that have passed a Breeding Soundness Exam and our heifers must be offspring of a dam who is a proven producer.
