Cow Families
Cow families, pedigrees and foundational breeding are incredibly important in the overall influence of a calf. The Bull makes up 50% of the herd and his dam is a key influencer in the outcome of his offspring. A $450,000 bull bred to a cow that has been subpar in milk production and weaning weights is not going to give you the full production potential of that bull’s offspring.
We have selected proven cow families to sire our calves. This is over 18 years of breeding, culling, AIing, buying, culling again and again. By continually keeping and tracking performance data on each animal, and building off these strong foundations we insure the best possible breeding stock for our clients.

Having purchased the original bloodlines in 2006 we know what we had and knew these cows were producers. Not willing to walk away from 18 years of breeding, and not wanting to focus on any additional cow families, we decided to pay respect to our local community by creating a bloodline in its honor.
